Who’s Leading This Expedition?
That would be Cole Morano, owner and operator of Dinomite Heating & Cooling and a proud veteran. Cole has been a Naval Intelligence Officer for more than 10 years and is currently serving in the Navy Reserve. An entrepreneur at heart, Cole started his first business in 2013, and since then, he and his wife Emily have owned and operated four businesses. After leaving active duty in 2020, Cole saw an opportunity to apply modern customer service principles and information systems to the outdated service industry. In his own life, Cole found himself dissatisfied with the service he would receive from other contractors. This inspired him to embrace and pursue his natural passion for entrepreneurship within the trades.
Cole holds a Bachelor of Science in Management and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Minnesota State University Mankato. In 2020, he was selected from a competitive pool of nationwide applicants to participate in the Veterans Entrepreneurship Program at University of Tennessee Chattanooga. Continuing education, and continuous improvement is a passion and what allows Dinomite Heating and Cooling to stay on the forefront of technology and the heating and air conditioning industry.
If you were to ask Cole, he would say Dinomite is a fusion of industry innovation and moral discipline. He took all of the values he gained during his time in the military—attention to detail, integrity, consistency, commitment—and applied them to his business. The values that Cole focuses on are the same ones that have become tougher and tougher to find in the service industry. Leading a team with more than 100 years of HVAC experience, Cole is looking to separate Dinomite from the pack. He has a keen understanding of what his customers need in terms of modern-day service, technology and solutions. The difference—or as Cole likes to call it, “The Dinomite Difference”—is that his crew doesn’t just know what’s right. They do what’s right.
